In Poland, the sub-sector Solid waste disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 1.08 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 0.3% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (13.45 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 92%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.04 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
