Oil and natural gas and other emissions from energy production

In Hungary, the sub-sector Oil and natural gas and other emissions from energy production (part of Energy) was responsible for 1.7 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 2.7% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (2.62 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 35.3%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 1.01 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
