Solid waste disposal

In Slovenia, the sub-sector Solid waste disposal (part of Waste) was responsible for 0.2 Mt CO₂eq of emissions in the year 2021, which is 1.2% of total emissions in that year. Compared to 1990 (0.42 Mt CO₂eq), emissions have decreased by 52.7%. Under existing measures, emissions are projected to reach 0.05 Mt CO₂eq by 2050.
